This is one of those days where sleep just won't come to me...
So should I...
Stay up late and wake up early? Or go to sleep soon and wake up at an ungodly early hour again?
The good in the somewhat annoying.
I’ve been suffering from a strange sleep pattern that is causing me to sleep twice a day. Once at midnight and again in the afternoon but something rather interesting has come out of this. Because my current word quota per day is basically write the next 1000th word the next day, every time I wake up I consider it the next day even though it may be the same day so I have the urge to write to the next 1000th word on a day when I’ve already done it. I’m basically writing twice as much as I usually do and I’m actually finding it to be a great thing. Something good has come out of something I find a little bit annoying.
Basically I’m doing this.
Go to sleep at 12am. Wake up at 2am. Write to the next 1000th word. Fall asleep at around 12pm. Wake up at 3pm. Write to the next 1000th word again because it feels like I haven’t done it today when I have.
If I continue to do this for a few more days, I might be able to get two weeks’ worth of week done in one week all by just tricking my mind.
