Hey so, it’s 6.30am, I haven’t slept, my cleaner comes at 1pm (I don’t need to explain why I have a cleaner) so now I can’t sleep, because if I do sleep I won’t wake up for her 😭😭
Worst part: didn’t even get any writing done 😭

effexor + Non-24-hour sleep–wake disorder = lol
I recently replayed sword and am doing the post game now. I didnt notice the first time, but Milo said he and Piers were having an exhibition match when the pokemon started to dynamax. Why would Piers be doing exhibition matches when he is now retired as a gym leader, and thus no longer obligated to do events like that?
The only reason I could think is just that Milo invited him to battle and Piers agreed because they're friends. Because I cant really see Piers doing exhibition matches unless hes cool with whoever invited him, especially when he ditches things like the opening ceremony when he was a gym leader. Plus he doesn't seem super buddy buddy with any of the other leaders.
So now all I'm thinking is Milo being the friendly guy he is being super nice to Piers and always having a conversation with him at league things. And Piers just accepting it because Milo is genuinely like that and wants to talk to him and Piers appreciates that sort of thing. The two of them thus forming this unlikely friendship.
i like to look at the positive side of things; my insomnia breaks the boundaries time zones put on me communicating with my friends around the world
