In the blinding half-asleep state amidst crippling insomnia last night, two cards burned into my semi-conscious mund out of nowhere -- The Star ✴️ and Two of Cups 🍶. These are not typical cards for me. For the past several months, I've been all Swords and Wands, amidst tumultuous, challenging, and enlivening professional transition. I rarely pull Majors anyway, and Cups have been an occasional supporting notion. In #thekitchentabletarot, @littlefoxtarot taglines The Star as "I am hoping", a beautiful affirmation for this so-often optimistic card. For 2Cups, she highlights partnerships, relationships, the kind of trust and compassion of true companionship. Weeks back, my spreads were variations of The Tower, 8 Swords, 2 Swords. 5 Swords... It's been a phallic quarter up in my world. So the intuitive unlooked-for appearance of The Star and 2 Cups is, well. Unusual. Interesting.
