Don't think of death while you're yet growing, Youth and vigor keep the juices flowing. Don't sit on your butt too much Neither should you lose your touch With friends and things you find appealing. Meet someone who makes your heart go reeling. Good feeling gives you inner wealth, Take special care with your gift of health, Maintain your equanimity And you'll fufill your destiny. It may seem a wast to spend tranquil hours But while you can, smell youth's sweet flower.

Something So Simple

Its amazing

how something so simple

can be

so beautiful

like traffic 

from an overpass,

taillights bright beacons 

in the grunge 

the rain

on the shining 

cement

smooth and reflective

as glass.

it dances,

full of life.

or his eyes,

icy pools of blue

from afar.

up close

they are kaleidoscopes

and I fall dizzy 

into their wake
