I hate this job but I remember how long I waited to get out here and how lucky I am to have employment at all so soon after getting into town, and a nice living situation, and my health, and I'm pissed but also inspired. It's worth it even when I hate it.

Today in history class my teacher talked about how some countries were allies and stuff then she mentioned when US occupied Iraq so my face scrunched up and then she said how the UK also went there to support their "allies" and she asked me if I was ok bc my face was scrunched up the whole time at the idea of all these white countries support each other so well against non-white countries
