so I read a post of @bokoettechild and, as usual when I like something, I wrote a thingy.

The second Chosen Hero they found is different from their Hero of Skies, and yet the same. He is gentle and sweet, learning about each of them in stride and cautious love as he works towards rejoining his own Chain. He is more hylian than any of them, and yet Warriors claims he is not. The earth does not fear him, nor does the sky and sun treat him with kindness or familiarity. When he smiles the land and sky sigh in relief, and when he sleeps the clouds and plants grow more active. But when he is angered, the sky turns black and for a moment they see the god who chained them to this land, and they know Who he is.

Concept:

A gay romantic epic.

But in space.

Idea:

In an alternate future love has become the purpose of all life.

A woman faces a life of poverty and social ostracism because she can't find any man who seems to be her soulmate.

But then one day, when she's about to give up hope, she ends up stuck in a lift with the most beautiful woman she's ever met, and her "boyfriend". The main character sees her and knows that she's the one.

But, you know.

She's a woman.

The rules don't allow that.

And so a series of stressful and convoluted plans commence by which the two lovers (and their asexual friend, whom they both pretend to be dating at different points in order to avert suspicion) try to escape the city and make it to an island where they've heard anyone can be anything they want to be.

(In the end they make it to the island and it's beautiful and happy and the asexual man gets to sit on beaches and drink pina coldas with his new best friend, who also happens to be asexual. They're all very happy).

In the cutthroat world of the renaissance court, a king finds love in the most unexpected place.

He’s married, of course - a foreign princess with a friendly face - but it’s a political alliance more than a marriage based on true emotion. The king does not think he has ever felt the kind of strange and lyrical love that the poets and playwrites speak so highly of, but he does not mind. Love is irrelevant - his duty comes first, and so he is content in his marriage.

But one day a new man comes to court. A politician, or the son of a rich knight, or something like that; tall, strong, and handsome, he soon catches the attention of many of the courtiers’ wives. But more than that, he catches the eye of the king. There’s something compelling about the man, he can’t place his finger on what.

So the man comes to court more and more. The king speaks to him, and finds, with some level of frustration, that his fascination with the man perseveres. Over time the king finds something melodic unfurling in his chest.

And suddenly his marriage no longer satisfies him.

Concept

A superhero movie with a female lead - she has super strength and can shape-shift. She goes around town kicking ass and being awesome. Her jock best friend follows her everywhere and it seems clear that he's going to become her love interest. 

But then one night, the hero gets called out to deal with a new minor supervillain in town, has a stupid nickname and all. The villain's face is obscured. The two have a surprisingly dramatic battle which the hero eventually wins, culminating in her pulling off the villain's mask.

And oh damn.

Oh damn, the hero thinks. She's cute.

The villain takes the hero's minor Gay Moment to escape, and the hero spends the rest of the movie hopelessly pining and dragging her best friend into increasingly ridiculous attempts to redeem this villain whom she's in love with. 

In the end the hero and the villain have to work together to defeat an even more dangerous supervillain, and then they kiss and form a vigilante duo that always ends up doing the right thing, but with often questionable methods. They are both happy. (The jock moves on from his crush on the hero and gets into a really good university because he starts dedicating more time to his studies, and so he is also happy).
