i just unfollowed like 400 accounts on Insta that were either random strangers, old accounts centered around bands i don't care about anymore that havent been used since 2016, and celebrities i dont need people knowing i like. some highlights:
-the guy ive been following since all those weird band pages who i had a crush on when i was like 12 and i actually used to interact with (i will never unfollow. hes from goodness knows where and we havent spoken at all since Band Phase but we still follow each other. we've seen some dark times. its a sacred bond) he has a soundcloud that i dont wanna listen to but im gonna so i can support my manzz
-all of my best friends six or seven accounts, most of which aren't used anymore
-wayy too many brands. why'd i follow a makeup company ive never even purchased from? why?? its a corporation jfc
-people ive never met or interacted with that i followed in like 2015 and we both still follow each other. theres probs 150 people like that
-an awful lot of meme pages. i dont follow meme pages bc i dont like what it says abt me if someone looks and sees that but i used to esp the ones that used those "follow or else blah blah" back in the day bc im paranoid
-too many people make instagrams for their pets. your dog isnt really that cute and you've trapped me bc we go to the same school and you followed me w ur dogs account and now i have to follow or else im the worst
