Most mornings I wake up, and check my phone. In the past, I had a client that liked to email me at 630 am every morning. She was always on the go and trying to get ahead of the world. She had a passion for design and I enjoyed working with her. As much as those emails were jarring first thing in the morning, I did enjoy calling her on my drive into work. We had coffee together and shared our project updates. It was a great ramp up to the day. // This morning, I saw a recent post from @me_and_orla It caught my eye because of the photo with her bird Jack. He apparently passed away and although I've followed this account for quite a while, I needed to look at why. She's a bit magical which is always a draw for me. Her storytelling is all heart and her instagram tips are solid. I learned three ways to create a cinemagraph before getting out of bed. ps. Sara is a big animal lover, too. // This shot was, of course, for two different clients - one plumbing, one countertop and if I'd had time it would have been for a window manufacturer as well. Always a collaborator, I'm looking for cross branding opportunities every day. Things I love about this shot are the reflections on the countertop, the wrap dress on the model and the #mcm horse on the window sill. Things I hate? I wish we'd videoed the water spray because then I could create a cinemagraph. #water #motion @mikemakiphotography #kitchen #instakitchen #kitchensink #bluekitchen #customdesign #customsetdesign #interiordesign #interiors #creative #creativedirector #setdesign #production #photography #branding #visualbranding #artdirector #photoartdirection #contentcreator #kitchenfaucet #roomhints #sharemystyle #inspotoyourhome #makehomeyours #pocketofmyhome #thehappynow #bstyle #bstyled https://www.instagram.com/p/CQdzkWunZ3h/?utm_medium=tumblr
