Huh, this has me intrigued:
Does that mean Willow would get along with Ravi sort of better if they were trapped in Easthaven instead of the MC than getting along if meeting Ravi in the current situation where MC is trapped (assuming it will happen later on)? Because based on previous asks and so on, I was under the impression Willow really hates Ravi's guts, and this doesn't seem as extreme.
Yup...sort of, at least. For the vast majority of the ROs, Willow's opinion would be slightly better if they met them on their own. Mostly because Willow wouldn't think of them in the context of "is this person good for my sibling (regardless of if it's romantic or platonic)" and would rather see the RO on their own merits.
Throwing MC in the mix not only triggers Willow's jealousy ("it should be you and me against the world, not you me and this random stranger!! I'm your sibling"), but also adds a huge level of judgment for Willow, who wants to keep MC safe and also doesn't want an annoying in-law.
That being said, I think the relationship between Willow and (Ravi/Beck/Croft) would be much worse if Willow met them first, because instead of the RO being like, "my new friend slash crush has a little sibling that hates my guts??? annoying but whatever, can't choose family", it would be more like "why is this literal stranger so pissed at me???? "
