Last note for today, to pimp some things that I've found

First, I was made aware of a website called InstantWatcher.com, which tells you everything that is on Netflix, in an easier to navigate format than the actual site. Not only does it have various lists of good and bad movies and television, it tells you everything that is new to Netflix, both blockbuster and tiny B-movie. It also tells you what is coming soon to Netflix, for example, Hugo, The King's Speech, and American Horror Story Season 1 are all coming in the next couple weeks. Finally, it gives you what is expiring soon so you have a chance to catch something that is being taken off of Netflix for whatever reason. I love Netflix and this site is pretty solid companion to the site proper.

I heard about this site on an old episode of the Get Up On This podcast, hosted by Jensen Karp on the SModcast network. Every week Jensen has a guest, usually a comedian, actor, or musician, and they each talk about a few things that may be new or old, but are under the radar and/or are about to blow up. The podcast runs live on the SModcast network every Tuesday at around 1pm easter/12pm central and it is archived on that site and also on iTunes. They answer questions from twitter on the live show and also post links to all the stuff they talk about on each show as they talk about them. Both Jensen and the show also have tumblrs, JensenKarp and GetUpOnJensen. I have heard about a ton of cool stuff from the handful of old episodes, I'm eager to get to the new ones so I'm not a year behind all of this stuff.
