For the past 8 months, I’ve been working on trying to take my business to the “next level” which included moving into/setting up my studio, organizing finances/accounts, getting my website going, and working on a system to consistently feed it. Been trying to make it work, but I haven’t been successful in setting up an efficient system and really getting into a flow. And to be honest, I’ve been kind of so caught up in the planning of “building a brand” that I’ve been indirectly holding myself back from actually executing. Now, in hindsight, I can recognize that it’s my fear disguised as preparation, for sure! The planning feels productive at the moment, but I actually end up procrastinating by focusing too much energy on the prep. So, after loosely switching my business model about 5,000 times (all the while playing it off like “business as usual,” of course,) I’ve finally made the decision to do away with the online shop and sell via Instagram. aA’s posts will feature more straight forward product shots, but don’t worry, the sazón will not be lost! I’ll also be sure to keep the story popping with impromptu content as well as bring back the #InstaStoryJumpOff! Items that don’t sell on Insta will eventually make it to an Etsy shop and the studio will also still be open for appointments. I’m a one woman operation, with some occasional assistance, so this will allow me to streamline my process and focus more on acquiring pieces and making them available to shop with less steps in between. Thank you so much for supporting and being a part of my and aA’s journey!! Hope you’re down with me sticking around b/c I’m fully committed to providing you baes with fly ass second hand statements and staples! xo, Luiza
