This was a memorable fish on a dry fly. It really shows how good the smaller rivers on the Tweed system are. I spent a lot of time waiting and planning its capture and after a spectacular battle it took off like rocket back to its element. I can’t put into words how rewarding this day was. I love crawling around in undergrowth like a loony and walking 12,000 steps for moments like this.
