I've been meaning to tell you this when I thought of it last week... anyways, I was think of Mars (like I always do) and more specifically Nice!Mars AU... correct me if I'm wrong, but if God had never abandoned us, Mars would be kind. Like, it was him leaving that eventually made Mars snap... so anyways, this just adds to the list of reasons I would fist fight God...

You’re absolutely right on both counts!! Mars slowly was corrupted by his own innate sense of superiority and selfishness that wouldn’t have been able to continue under God’s watch. And in fact Mars’s issues were further exaserbated by having to take care of his ‘family’ of angels alone since Ben, the eldest, turned out to be irresponsible and untrustworthy. So definitely control issues and BIGASS daddy issues.
