I made this cave

I used various references while making this of caves and then also keep paintings. Obviously, the big cave in France was a major component, but also smaller, less known ones from all over Europe and also some and South America. I believe I don’t quite remember.

The cave is made from cardboard and covered in a mixture of mod podge gesso, a sand typically used and clay, and then a little bit of grout. It gives it a very hard texture. It also kind of feels like rubbing it over very sandy like rock, but it’s very firm. Some of the bigger chunks are Styrofoam, which also coated in that, and then I put layers of paint and stuff, trying to mimic various textures, and what not

The actual painting themselves are basically charcoal. Some of the hand mixture is a little bit of watercolor to just help thin it up a bit. This is how I ripped apart part of my skin on my fingers and hands from rubbing my fingers through that grit actually put indents that are finally healed

The little dots you see by some of the animals or dashes in them, are related to a research that he said haven’t been fully vetted yet since of like those dots were related to meeting or hunting season for those animals it’s kind of depends on who you

A Sound Garden - Seattle, WA - With a GoPro Max

So once you’ve seen the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Woodland Park Zoo, the Seattle Aquarium, and, if you’re one of the cool people, the Fremont Troll, and are looking for less widely advertised places to visit in Seattle, find out if this place is currently available to the public. I say ‘currently’ because it’s been an age and a half since I’ve been there (like, over 20 years), and while I know it’s still standing, there is some online debate over the public accessibility. The official government site, of course, does nothing to clear it up, because why would it be that useful?

At any rate, whether you’re a fan of the local band whose name was inspired by this place or not, it is a super awesome place to go.

In 2008, Roger Hiorns impregnated an abandoned flat with crystals.

I was very interested in the idea that the artwork would exist aesthetically without my hand, and in me not being present for most of the making. I would put together some kind of basic structure which would then grow into something else, the unanticipated other ... Sculpture is slow, and object-making is very slow. The object is being made, is made by the reaction that happens over time, these materials are introduced to each other. That was interesting to me, instead of processes like welding, sawing and, importantly, the hammer.
