i just almost sortof cant imagine being alive in a world and not being curious about all of its countries and governments and languages and art and history and books and writers and philosophies and movements and culture and thinking and people. its all just so massive. because it is All

i think its so so fascinating how when you look at a sentence or a paragraph or a word or a phrase or a sign or a letter or a stamp or an autograph or a legal document or a text or a comment or a warning or a line or a stanza or a description its all just. mahjong tiles of historical meaning. paints of so many colors dripping over our lives, the cascading slopping of sludge over everything we see and think. stratigraphy. layers of meaning, eras of designations. threads that are cut and tied together. lost and replaced. frankenstein i.e. a the Franks, a western germanic group of people who lived in the first millenia, and stein, or stone. shapes of meaning, the shape of transiency, shape of culture, shape of history. our values and exchanges, agency and dependencies

@ the tags in the recent reblog of the wasp post "whats happening to the figs....-_-" . basically every fig has a wasp in it. the wasps pollinate a fig and get stuck in there. or something to that effect

holy shit thats fucked upppp but also rlly cool to learn. i love all the Systems evolution has stumbled upon. like deers. the momma will leave the fawns for a while and they wont defecate until she comes back at which point she'll eat it and then the cool thing is that her body sorta detects if theres any sickness or whatever and her milk will develop antibodies to help the fawns. i think its way cooler than it is gross. like the wasp thing. venus flytrap style. waowie. thats so so cool
