One would think that a job at the library would be painfully boring. One would also be wrong about that small, deluded little fact. Her day to day life was anything but, between difficult college students, hoardes of unruly children in for a makeshift field trip, and even the occasionally reckless do it your self mom, there was never dull moment. Regardless, she was tired, evident in the way that exhausted sigh pushed passed her lips at the sound of the door opening and closing.
She’d forgotten to lock it when the clock struck closing time, and now she was going to have to explain that to some stranger. A moment, a pause taken, glasses pushed up the bridge of her nose until she was prepared to face to so called music. Big brown eyes shifted up, only to widen in surprise at the familiar face standing in front of her desk.
“You...” A pause for composure, trying to shake the shock from her voice. “Not who I expected, but were closed.”
