“PLEASE JUST PUT ME out of my misery, i’m begging you,” jade sighed as she threw herself back onto william’s couch. she had just come back from hanging out with astrid and it was fair to say that she was a little bit frustrated. “how did you land not only one but two boyfriends?” she asked, sending her best friend a half-hearted glare. “i mean, no offense, i love you and you are a total catch, but you can barely string a sentence around people you’re attracted to ... how did you do it? teach me your ways because this alpha is killing me,” jade whined. her lips jutted out into a pout and she reached for one of the throw pillows to hold close to her chest.

“ASTRID, HI!” jade called out, jogging slightly to close in the distance between herself and the female alpha. it was most definitely an accidentally-on-purpose coincidence as she had asked astrid’s best friend about her whereabouts for the afternoon and aria had only been too happy to inform her. “how are you? i’m glad i ran into you, i was actually wondering if you were free to help me out with something?” she asked all in one rushed breath before smiling. jade really wanted to get to know the other girl better ( partly hoping it would help her either get over her crush or help astrid really notice her ) but she had zero ideas on how to make it happen. she finally decided a spur-of-the-moment adventure might just be the thing to turn the tide.
