"Master   would   kill   me   if   I   didn't   help   you."   And   she   ought   to   be   more   careful.   Roaming   off   was   one   thing,   but   feeding   of   someone   who   wasn't   approved   before   hand   by   Mr.   Yi   was   just   calling   for   danger.   She   had   been   lucky   he   was   around   and   realized   what   was   happening   and   he   made   sure   that   no   witnesses   were   left   around   to   say   a   word.   "You   are   getting   reckless   and   way   too   annoying   to   ignore   anyways.   You   should   work   on   that   instead   of   going   out   without   permission."   And   he   rolls   his   eyes,   hand   reaching   for   her   wrist   and   made   sure   to   grasp   and   take   hold   as   he   drags   her   away   from   the   night   club's   alley   she   had   been   feeding   of.   "If   you   want   to   feed   more,   there   is   more   at   home.   Let's   go."

Sei   blinked   at   her   threat,   the   sharpness   of   her   voice   slicing   straight   through   the   room—through   him.   Bite   it?   The   words   echoed   in   his   head,   with   an   immediate   spark   of   something   far   too   amused   for   the   situation.   He   should   apologise.   Any   normal   person   would.   But   Sei   only   leaned   back   slightly,   shoulder   resting   against   the   wall   as   if   she   hadn’t   just   promised   to   maim   him.

A   slow,   infuriating   smile   crept   across   his   mouth.   Of   course   she   was   angry—Junha   wore   fury   beautifully,   like   it   was   another   stage   outfit   crafted   just   for   her.   He   swallowed   a   laugh.   She’s   adorable   when   she   threatens   violence.   “Noted,”   he   thought,   resisting   the   urge   to   say   it   aloud.   If   he   did,   she   might   actually   follow   through   on   the   biting   part.   But   his   eyes   betrayed   him,   glinting   with   their   usual   mischief   as   he   watched   her,   unbothered,   a   little   too   pleased.   “You   forget   we   both   really   enjoy   biting.”   He   points   out,   finally   pushing   himself   away   from   the   wall   and   back   to   close   the   distance   between   the   two   of   them.  

“Namkyu   is   doing   business   elsewhere,   and   we   both   know   what   we   do   with   him.   He   did   said   to   take   care   of   each   other.”   And   it's   not   secret   that   bloodsharing   is   something   that   vampires   do.   He   usually   does   it   with   Namkyu   when   they   are   alone   and   he   is   not   a   fool   to   not   know   she   does   the   same.   "So   if   you   want   to   bite   me.   .   .bite   me."

Sei’s   lips   curved   into   that   half-smile   that   always   seemed   rehearsed   for   the   stage   but   never   quite   reached   his   eyes.   The   dim   light   from   the   alley   buzzed   faintly   against   his   skin,   tracing   the   faint   shimmer   that   no   human   lighting   could   ever   explain.   “I   didn’t,”   he   said   softly,   his   tone   smooth,   like   silk   covering   a   blade.   “But   you   leave   a   trail,   Jaeshin.   Even   when   you   try   not   to.”   His   gaze   lingered   on   him   for   a   moment   too   long   —   sharp,   attentive,   and   impossibly   calm,   as   though   he’d   been   standing   there   for   hours   waiting   for   the   exact   second   Jaeshin   would   turn.   “I   got   a   good   sense   of   smell   too.”

He   tilted   his   head,   studying   the   older   vampire’s   expression   with   quiet   amusement.   “You   forget,”   Sei   continued,   stepping   forward   just   enough   for   the   air   to   shift   between   them,   “Namkyu   didn’t   turn   me   blind.   I   can   smell   hesitation   from   a   mile   away   —   and   you   reek   of   it   tonight.”   A   pause,   deliberate,   before   his   tone   softened,   something   careful   flickering   beneath   his   teasing.   “Besides,”   he   murmured,   eyes   lowering   briefly,   “you’re   never   really   hard   to   find,   hyung.   So   are   you   going   to   tell   me   what   is   your   deal?”

"Oh   I'm   sorry,   was   I   not   clear   enough?"   It   seem   that   these   days,   Sei   has   two   purposes;   annoy   her   and   make   sure   to   keep   Jaeshin   in   check,   down   to   the   most   minimal   thing.   The   first   one   was   more   of   a   personal   matter,   while   the   latter   was   just   following   his   orders   from   his   maker   and   sire.   "You   are   clingy.   Never   let   Master   Namkyu   breathe.   No   wonder   Jaeshin   got   rid   of   you."   Harsh   words   to   cause   the   other   to   react,   but   he   only   spoke   his   truths.  

Sei   was   tired   of   seeing   her   around   just   playin'   it   up;   the   role   of   sweet   innocent   sexy   girl,   and   he   can't   believe   who   is   worst,   her   or   her   friends   who   just   seem   unbothered   by   the   obvious   changes   in   her   friend.   Regardless,   he   had   fun   with   that   one   (   he   wonders   how   would   Junha   react,   if   he   was   told   to   take   advances   toward   Serin,   but   that   is   something   he   would   discuss   with   his   maker   first   ).   "If   he   were   to   get   himself   someone   else,   would   you   be   upset?   You   hardly   like   sharing   a   spot   with   me."
