maybe running is a foolish errand. maybe minjoon should know better than to try and flea from someone who's entire job is to run and catch him. however, logic rarely plays a part in the decisions he makes. especially right now, when he's sure he's made a massive mistake. ( and it won't fall to him, either. it'll be another cover-up, another case of his parents pulling the strings behind the scenes while gunwoo is quietly fired for seemingly no reason. it makes his heart race faster as he sprints around corners, dodging and dipping and swerving oncoming foliage and leaves. ) he nearly trips over brick lining as he takes another turn, though minjoon isn't surprised in the slightest when gunwoo is on him about thirty seconds after he left. ( probably sooner, honestly. ) the hand that wraps around his arm startles him for only a moment before he's being turned, pressed into a hedge with a surprising amount of forceful restraint. his cheeks are flushed, pink from sprinting, and his chest heaves on pants as he attempts to slowly but surely catch his breath.
he wants to start speaking, but as always, gunwoo stops him. and maybe it's an attempt to clear his mind, like usual, but the way his bodyguard studies him is... different. ( sure, they tease. joke. toe the line. flirt, maybe, if you squint your eyes and tilt your head. but what minjoon did was direct. he not only crossed the line, he erased it. and there's something akin to fear that sinks into his stomach the longer gunwoo just... looks at him. ) his lips part to start muttering a lame apology, but the words die on his tongue when gunwoo surges forward, challenges minjoon to deal with the consequences of his actions, and... kisses him. really kisses him. gunwoo's lips part immediately against his own as he tugs him closer, and minjoon's pretty sure his brain is short circuiting, because there's no way his disastrous display of affection actually... worked out in his favor.
but it did. because gunwoo is still kissing him, still holding him, and minjoon very quickly finds himself melting into the touches. his own lips part, and minjoon's tongue eagerly licks out, seeks the warmth from gunwoo's as his arms wrap low around his waist. his fingers flex, spread out, press against the small of his back to encourage him closer. even as they're chest to chest, minjoon doesn't think it's close enough -- he needs every part of him. the moan that leaves his throat this time is a little less tentative, maybe a little too loud in the otherwise stillness of the garden, but he doesn't care. ( minjoon's been with a handful of people, has sought out many distractions in his life, but nothing has felt like this. his entire body is on fire, and the grip he has on gunwoo, even through the thickness of his uniform, is crushing. ) teeth nip at him once more before minjoon tilts his head, noses his way across gunwoo's cheek. "if you think being carried by you is a punishment," he groans, "you're sorely mistaken." he doesn't offer much more beyond a pleading look in his eyes, and minjoon's lips press soft, fluttering kisses along the column of his throat until he can meet gunwoo's gaze with his own. "keep kissing me." it's meant to come out more commanding than it does -- instead, it comes like a plea. like he's begging for the other man. ( and, honestly? he is. )
