since you're a nerd and such an expert on the pokedex, answer this for me, boy. why is it that koffing, obviously the best pokemon in the whole universe, is ranked #109 while some shitty, green bulb gets to be #1?
for one, bulbasaur is not some “shitty, green bulb.” the pokedex has nothing to do with the importance of pokemon, but just the way they’re organized. the grass starter from each region is always first in each of the regions. the order of the regions in the national pokedex though are kanto, johto, hoenn, sinnoh, unova, and then kalos. so chikorita, which is #1 in the johto pokedex would be #152
but! if you want to look at things in which is the better pokemon way… bulbasaur is a rather well-rounded pokemon. koffing has high defense. although it may seem that koffing has the advantage, bulbasaur evolves three times while koffing only evolves once. both pokemon meet their final evolution in the mid thirties level. weezing has high defense, but it doesnt really matter for a venasaur, for it’s strong points are special attack and special defense! venasaur is also much faster than weezing. but what gives venasaur an even bigger advantage is that it has a mega evolution! it brings up venasaur’s stats so that venasuar has even higher defense than weezing!
so next time, don’t just go making fun of a pokemon because it looks silly and maybe you don’t like it so much! venasaur is even a poison type so it would be perfect for you, non? i do hope this cleared up any questions, weird sir.
