Is there life afterlife for a blog?

It's been pretty much ten years since I've stopped. I felt like I had exhausted myself, that all that could be said had been said. I wanted to focus on other things. I wanted to get away from tumblr.

My views haven't changed much, but I've become moderate on certain details, conditions, judgements, and more open to self-reflection.

Is there anyone still out there? Has conversation around circumcision changed in any way?

It's important to me, as a feminist, that I spread information about circumcision. Routine infant circumcision is an unnecessary cosmetic procedure taking the foreskin of a baby who CANNOT consent!! Please educate yourself and stand up for your childs rights! Know better. Do better.

These are four messages I’ve gotten since eleven people were murdered in a synagogue by a man shouting he wanted to kill all Jews. If this is your go-to thought after an antisemitic mass shooting... If your response after an act of bigotry is to swim in that same bigotry, then you need to take a look at yourself in the mirror and think about why you view Jews, African Americans, immigrants, Latinxs, those of us who straddle more than one group, or anyone else marked as the other as being only deserving of vitriol and not having humanity or not deserving respect or dignity.
