Get yourself a fabric store that will light your fabric on fire for you
No but legit I asked what the fiber content of something was and the guy didn’t know so he cut a chunk off and lit it on fire and felt the ashes and was like. Yeah this is mostly cotton with a lil bit of silk. And that was the moment I knew. This is it. This is the fabric store for me. Also that guy is marriage material. Not for me but damn some person is gonna be so happy with him.
Ok but this is actually one of the easiest ways to tell what something is made of! I did a textiles degree and one day as part of a class we all went outside with a pile of scrap fabric and set fire to the little pieces and recorded how they burned. We were given a chart that looked something like this to tell what each fabric was (it gets a little tricky is it's a mix of fabrics though). Why did we do this? There is very little regulation in the textiles industry so a lot of materials are mislabelled as something they aren't and sold for more than they should be, also sometimes people buy fabric second hand or discounted which doesn't have any label at all. If you have a fabric you are having doubts about, cut a tiny piece off and do the burn test and you should know pretty fast what you are dealing with. Anyways your fabric store should be lighting things on fire because this means that they are actually checking what the fabrics are and aren't trying to pass cheap stuff off as more expensive than it is.
While I'm remembering to say this, one thing that lost the left a lot of favors during Trump's first presidency was the sheer amount of people associated with the left, whether they were left or not, attributing falsehoods to Trump. Things he never did or said, things taken out of context, so forth. If it made him look bad, it was believed. And because of this, the right was freely handed ammo to use against what they perceive as the left. And it helped them. It worked. People looked at the left as full of liars, so why ever listen to us?
Protect any community members who are in the US illegally. A truly free market does not discriminate, fostering relationships with them and providing mutual defense is as much important to community health as such actions with legal citizens and migrants 🙏
After reading Executive Order 14161, there's definitely a bit more urgency to protect undocumented immigrants from the state. Please use this site to anonymously report any ICE activity sightings and share it with undocumented immigrants that you may know so they are better prepared :)

Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, Fukushima
If you can GUARANTEE that nothing even APPROACHING those could EVER happen under ANY circumstances
Then I will fold to Nuclear Power
essentially a human-made accident through gross mismanagement and neglect, that physically can't happen with other reactor types (in part because they all have containment buildings now). so yes we can guarantee that nothing even approaching chernobyl will ever happen with modern reactors.
even so chernobyl still killed fewer people than the German Atomausstieg has through increased air pollution because of additional coal being burnt
Love people using 3 mile island as an example. 3 mile island is an example of where things WORKED, that the failsafes kicked in so only a miniscule amount of radiation was released, which not only didnt kill anyone, but no one was injured, no adverse health effects were caused, and there was no damage to the surrounding environment. Despite the incident, the other reactor continued to run until 2019!
And again: the point isn't "do you prefer renewables or nuclear". The point is "everyone fighting againsy nuclear power has further entrenched coal and oil power and caused a LOT more damage to the environment"
Fukushima is even environmentally safe, they cleaned up rather quickly and started growing their own food again not long after it happened. Did it have an impact? Sure, but it didn't last long and wasn't severe enough to permanently damage anything. Chernobyl really is the only example they have that caused any amount of long lasting damage. Meanwhile, fossil fuels and coal produce far more long lasting damage and pollution per unit of energy than any other source. Nuclear still winning.
Y'know, Trump had a good run keeping that approve score above the disapprove score on the first day of that post, really dropping the ball these last few orders I added on lol :P

Thing's Trump has directly done, in terms of orders and policies, and my stance on it. I'll update as I read through what he's done. If he's done it and it's not here, you can inform me, I'll get to adding on as I actually look at what's been done. If you have questions about my reasoning for any particular decision, feel free to ask. If you want to read the orders posted, skip to section 3 for each order as that is where he gets into what the order actually does. Section 1 is an introduction, section 2 is policy precedent.

Here's an Example as to why Donald Trump is fascist
Donald Trump wants Concealed Carry Reciprocity.
What is that?
In the United States, it is not automatically legal to carry a firearm in a concealed manner just because one has a firearms license. One needs to obtain a special additional permission to do so. Like most things in the United States, Concealed Carry is decided on a state-by-state basis, meaning a person's permission for Concealed Carry only applies in the state it in which it was issued.
Concealed Carry Reciprocity is the legal concept that a permission for Concealed Carry, issued in any state, applies in all states. So, if a gun owner was permitted to Concealed Carry in Oklahoma, he can currently only do so in Oklahoma. Doing it in any other state is a crime. Under Concealed Carry Reciprocity, it would not be.
What does Donald Trump intend with this?
Donald Trump knows that his most loyal followers live in deep red states, which also have the highest concentrations of gun owners. Due to the high concentrations and due to Republicans being generally against gun control, it is likelier that more gun owners in red states have Concealed Carry permission. Donald Trump wants to allow people to Concealed Carry in any state if they've received permission in one, because he knows that most people who will take advantage of this will be his most loyal followers.
Donald Trump plans to lay the groundwork for his version of Mussolini's Blackshirts and Hitler's Brownshirts, his own paramilitary force of loyal followers who are ready to attack and murder fellow citizens in open daylight for their political positions that oppose their idol. Concealed Carry Reciprocity makes it easier for them to do this.
Look, I ain't a fan of Trump at all... but opening up the ability to legally carry is not fascist. A fascist policy on guns would restrict access, specifically to prevent "undesirables" from arming themselves, especially the party's opposition. Everyone having more access to guns and ability to carry is something all authoritarian regimes try to prevent for a reason - an armed populace is a threat to their authority.
"Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary." - Karl Marx
I have. They didn't work because Hitler and Mussolini made public access to firearms and ability to conceal carry easier. They helped facilitate a rise to power, after which arms were restricted to prevent opposition from rising up. Trump is about to be in power (again). If he actually does something pro-gun for everyone (he has a history of not fulfilling his promises and supporting gun restrictions) then I cannot see how that action is what makes him a fascist. You can say he's a fascist, but actually present stuff that is in line with fascism as an example, not a promise that is not fascist and then a hypothetical paramilitary rising from this non-fascist policy. You created the hypothetical, it's not a hypothetical he is proposing. Use things he's actually saying and actions he has taken if you want to prove him to be a fascist, not possible things he could be for that are, as of yet, mere speculation on your part. An example of his position on guns that is an example of fascism is his support for red flag laws.
