So here's my OC (original character, do not steal) Leo, who I made at age 14. At the time I just gotten into customising dolls and Obitsu dolls were amazing to me cuz the only male doll options at the time was super buff action figures or the ugly ass PTR (Palms to Rear) Ken body that had been in circulation since the 60s. But Obitsu male dolls were lean and ultra poseable, and since Obitsu are Japanese it heavily overlapped with my Anime interests at the time.
Leo's head was from a tiny customising company called Noix De Rome who made a bunch of stuff intended for 1/6th dolls, and ofc one of them was this elf earred head that absolutely stole my heart. So it wasn't intended for a male body but I made it work.
Anyway Leo has always been a super sentimental to me because I was just discovering my sexuality at age 14 and Leo became the emotional receptacle of those feelings and being able to actualise myself as a gay person. Of course I've moved on and I hopefully have improved my skills since I was 14.
Anyway I've been wanting to revisit this character in my own current style since of course I've gotten the skills to actualise how I envisioned him. I know that I wanted to retain a Japanese style facial structure, and that I needed Leo to be exceedingly tall since I used to mod the Obitsu body to be as tall as possible. I also did regret cutting Leo's hair so my new take on him has the hair longer and I always did want him to have droopy ears to convey his more melancholy and soft nature.
