Sapiosexuality/romanticism is NOT ableism

Okay so recently I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about how being sapiosexual is also being ableist, and while I understand where those people are coming from, I’m afraid I have to disagree. By definition, sapiosexual is adj. (of a person) finding intelligence sexually attractive or arousing n. a person who finds intelligence sexually attractive or arousing. Sapioromantic is the same except in a romantic sense. In my own experience, being sapiosexual is also closely related to being demisexual- a sexual orientation where people only experience sexual attraction to folks that they have close emotional connections with. In other words, you cannot be sapiosexual and also actively dismiss a person’s intelligence because they don’t look intelligent or they haven’t had the opportunity to showcase their own intelligence to you. Ablesim, by definition, is discrimination in favor of able-bodied people. So, by saying that sapiosexuality is also ableism, you are saying that those who are sapiosexual are misusing their own intelligence in favor of being the very thing that would repulse those who are sapiosexual. I don’t know if I was clear in everything I was explaining, so if anyone has any questions or concerns, I’d be happy to address and answer them. I encourage any pursuit of knowledge of knowledge as long as it isn’t clouded by misconception and an unwillingness to have an open mind. Please remember to do your research and, if you must argue, do it in the form of an intelligent debate.

what's the thing about zim being a teenager

some people say, as an excuse to ship zim and dib, that zim is a teenager in irken years, because he acts childish, and because “irkens age differently” which is complete bullshit imo

the main holes you can poke in this argument are: 1. dib is either 9/10-12 in both iterations (the movie and the show respectively), which means that’s still a pretty big age gap still, if zim is a teenager2. dib is going to outgrow zim’s age in SECONDS compared to how long it would take for zim to stop being 16 (the common age people think he is as a teen), so when dib is 25, zim is still going to be 16/17

Liv anon, I saw. Also another thing that really bothers me: there's someone on here that posts a lot of nsfw or at least really suggestive Liv stuff and one day I noticed (their blog comes up under my recommended tumblrs a lot) they updated their description to include their age and they're only a minor - they edited it back to no age pretty fast, but I still get really creeped out whenever I see adults reblogging said nsfw/suggestive posts or even adding on. that sucks!!!!! that really sucks!!!!!! this is literally one of the biggest problems with the internet, and a big part of why i’m actually kind of glad for the tumblr nsfw ban, that ppl under 18 (or anyone for that matter) on here can’t get to pornographic content here AS easily anymore, and i say as easily because clearly- clearly its still not exactly super super hard to find nsfw content on here

i understand teenagers wanna fuck and stuff and wanna talk about sex, but if you really are going to do that, you need to do it in a space where it’s people your own age (ideally in the range of the same age such as a year under or over), and not purposefully hide your age from adults who don’t know you’re a minor. i just don’t think i can put into words how dangerous of a thing that is

also if youre a minor! stop-! posting sexy content on the internet! just odn’t! just do not. just dont, keep it private, and as soon as you turn 18, whatever, open the floodgates! i understand that’s a long time to wait sometimes, but i assure you, as someone who has been through a couple things, i can tell you for sure you REALLY should wait until you’re 18, or not considered a minor in your country
