Riley wasn’t supposed to be here. Her parents - especially her dad - would get a heart if they knew she sneaked out after curfew. Not to mention where she sneaked off to. Luckily for them, they were out of town on a church convention and what they didn’t know, couldn’t hurt them, right? And to be completely honest, she just couldn’t have lived with spending another Friday night in her room doing something boring - or worse downstairs with her parents playing board games or God knows what. So she’d put on the short and sexy black dress she’d buried so deep in her closet that her mum wouldn’t ever find it, some bold red lipstick, had slipped into the only pair of high heels she owned and then headed straight towards the party she saw mentioned in some post on Facebook by a very distant acquaintance from years ago she never unfriended. It definitely wasn’t her usual crowd and that was precisely what she was going for. After all, nobody was ever supposed to found out about tonight - she couldn’t afford to lose her good-girl, pastor’s daughter reputation. Luckily, it was very unlikely to run into any familiar faces tonight. Once she arrived at the party, her gaze immediately wandered over the masses of people dancing, drinking and chatting looking for a cute guy. It didn’t take her long to find one, standing in a group of other people - friends, she assumed. Rosy lips curled up into a coy smile, she headed straight towards them.“What does a girl have to do to get a drink here?”, she asked everybody around, but her eyes were solely focused on him.
