There were few things in life that brought Dante down to humble him. The way he left Heather was something he would always regret. He’d gotten so in his head about how heartless he was in that moment that it made him act even more distant on the topic. Running into in the bathrooms was only a sign of fate to him. “Can we talk?” he asked as he held a hand out, but keeping it closer to himself than her. This was indication that she fully had the choice in this moment to do as she pleased.

"Do   you   really   think   I'm   that   stupid?"   Heather   asks.   "Actually,   don't   answer   that,   I   already   know   the   answer   and   I   don't   care."   She   knows   Stiles   has   his   problems   with   Peter,   but   if   he   had   just   been   more   honest,   she   wouldn't   have   gone   to   him   in   the   first   place!   And   Peter   wasn't   even   as   bad   as   Stiles   said,   he   had   plenty   of   times   to   kill   her   and   didn't.   At   least   he   would   tell   her   things   and   actually   knew   things.

HOSPITAL

Heather had worried the living hell out of Brandi if she were to tell anyone about it. Scared out of her mind that Knox had just lost his aunty, she lost her sister, Jordan lost his girlfriend. She’d spent the past day crying her eyes out and spending all of her money at the vending machine to eat her feelings away. Damn those Nutter Butters really did the trick. They used to hold her over when she cried about the absence of her mother as a child. She couldn’t help but wonder what their mother would be feeling now, knowing the children she left were in the face of danger on a daily basis?

The moment she saw her sister’s eyes beginning too open, she popped up from the small chair she was in and immediately pressed the nurse call button, the tears welling up in her eyes as she leaned down to press a soothing kiss to her sister’s forehead. “Silly, girl. If you wanted to go for a swim, I woulda got ya a life jacket..” she teased, wanting to keep the mood light and her sister’s heart rate as even as possible.
