Alex honestly never paid all that much attention to anything that was happening around her. The first year or so, for sure, she was hyper aware of everything - petrified she’d been followed down here by whoever in NYC. But, nowadays, she was either high or crashing and neither of those things lent themselves much to being aware. So, no, she didn’t clock that Brandi was looking like she was in a rush. Alex probably didn’t even know what the word rush meant, let’s be honest. “Oh, dope,” she responded when Brandi said her… Oh, yeah, they were sisters, she probably knew Heather was still in the hospital. “She, er, she doin’ okay, yeah?” Alex asked, assuming that she probably needed to ask after the person who almost just died. The bar back shrugged at the question. “’Course, man. You know me, always doin’ gucci,” she said, light toned as she poured a cup of coffee, put the flask down on the makeshift ‘desk’, and sat down. “There’s another cup in there, if you ain’t in a hurry,” Alex nodded towards the flask and motioned to one of the empty seats.
Brandi enjoyed Alex’s company, she was someone that seemed to kind of live in the same head empty space as her and it worked best for them. While everyone else was running around worrying about the mishaps popping up around them, the two of them were kind of just catching a vibe for the most part. Her eyes went down to the bag that was mostly full at this point, placing it on the ground and going to moving closer to Alex with a few slow nods of her head. “Yeah, she movin’ ‘n groovin’. But her memory ain’t the best. Still figurin’ that out...” she informed the other, offering the softest smile as she motioned to Alex’s trailer. “I got some time to spare... I ain’t really in a rush to see her like that..”
