PJ kept repeating Sam's words in her mind after that night. How much she was hurting herself by trying to hurt James for what happened and how she felt and it was true but it took her a while to finally gather up the strength to actually go see him. That and the fact that she had to ask her mom for his address because she had no idea where he was living. After a very heated conversation that PJ truly hoped was the last one she had to have with the woman, she made her way to see him.

Standing at his front door in Macon Park, PJ rang the door bell and waited anxiously, looking around the street where he was living. She hadn't been to Macon Park in years honestly. "I made too much arroz con leche. Not sure if you still like it." She said to her brother as soon as he opened the door without a hi or an apology, just straight to that.

James didn’t know why, but he found clumsiness to be.. rather cute. He couldn’t do otherwise, it was cuteness for him and when the girl bumped into him while running around to find her belongings he couldn’t do much but smile at her. “Let me guess.. you’re new here..” He said, helping her collect few of her things and picking up her boxes. “It’s ok. You know the first time you arrive here it’s a little bit confusing. So where are you headed? Do you have a room number?” He asked. She looked pretty adorable to say the truth, but James had this instinct of protecting almost everybody. And she seemed to be pretty exposed for a newbie. “I am James by the way. Welcome to the institute.” He said, remembering his manners for a moment, placing one of the boxes down and kissing her hand.

“Oh- Yeah,” Ashley smiled at the man who helped her pick up her tipped over box. “Yeah, sorry about that. I do have a room number it’s...” she turned around in a circle before pulling the papers she’d gotten from the administration office out of her back pocket. “Right here!” she giggled sheepishly before opening the paper and looking at it. “I’m in room... 213,” she looked up at the taller man and smiled at him before he took her hand and kissed her knuckles. “Oh wow- um, aha,” she giggled nervously, a small blush creeping across her cheeks. “I’m uh, I’m Ash- Ashley, but um, you can call me Ash.”

A bright grin takes over Riley’s face as she slowly approaches her boyfriend at his locker, carefully adjusting her backpack on her shoulders. “Hey, babe!” She greets, leaning up slightly to give him a kiss on the cheek. “So, tonight I’m supposed to be watching the boys and I promised them I’d take them to see Shazam, I was wondering if you wanted to join us?”

Riley lets out a sigh as she waits for James to arrive home, all kinds of thoughts running through her head. Recently, things had been well, different for them. College was something that had been keeping both of them rather busy and time spent with each other had become something rare... and she couldn’t help noticing this seemed to have caused a slight shift in their relationship. Things just didn’t feel the same anymore, and she couldn’t help but worry what could happen, that they could grow unhappy with each other, and she didn’t want that. She loved James, he’d been in her life since she was just a kid, he was her best friend. She couldn’t lose him...

So, that’s when this thought had hit her. If they stayed together, romantically, it could end up resulting in heartbreak, but if they broke up and stayed friends, well, at least they would still have each other. She knew it would be hard, she loved him so much, but she felt like this would be for the best. This could be their best chance. Unless of course, the break up went sour, but she had tried to have hope that he would agree and understand.

She looks up now, hearing the door opening. She’s sitting on the couch in the living room and when she sees him, that’s when a slightly forced smile appears on her face. She gestures for him to sit next to her on the couch.

“Hey, J... Can we talk?”

There was no one in the world who was nearly as special to her as her brother was. Sure, there were issues in the past, but that was all behind them now and it was time for them to make up for lost time. The small blonde was digging through his refrigerator and looking for something to eat before finally calling out to him. “Why don’t you have any beyond beef!?” She was planning to make the both of them some beyond beef burgers and fresh steak cut fries seeing as how she missed spending time with him these past few weeks when she had been incredibly busy with a wedding she was in the middle of planning for an extremely picky bride. Instead, she grabbed herself a glass from his cabinet and got herself a glass of water, placing it against her lips to take a sip. “You should come to a yoga class with me one day!” she exclaimed with a wide smile, head tilted as she took another sip of her water. “I always meet some really interesting people there.”

Zahra poured the freshly frothed milk over the espresso before passing it to James and sitting at the table across from him. “I spent so many hours researching espresso machines last year and I was all excited to make my coffee myself,” she said, leaning back in her chair to make herself comfortable. “I think I’ve used the thing like... eight times,” she joked, taking a sip from her cup. “How have you been these days? Things with Madi still going well?”

“You need to wake up because I can’t do this without you.” (JILY)

James sighed, running a hand across his face, exhaustion creeping into his bones. The chairs in St. Mungos weren’t comfortable, but he felt hardpressed to be anywhere but by Lily’s side. Harry was with Remus while he visited his wife, unwilling to subject his toddler to seeing his mother like this. “Lily,” he murmured, voice cracking as he slipped his hands around hers, “Lily, please,” he begged her. She didn’t respond-hadn’t responded since the attack on their home when she stepped in between Voldemort and their son, “I need-I need you, okay?” He scoffed, shaking his head. “I know you always joked that I would lose my head if you weren’t around to keep it on my shoulders, but Lils, I can’t do this.” Tears had started falling and he took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. “You need need to wake up, because I can’t do this without you. Harry can’t do this without you. We need his mom.”
