"That sounds crazier than Steve on the moon."
Continued from: @coldestthief
Joaquin gets that unsettling feeling of an impending attack the second Len's chilly blues are honing in on him. "Uh, habit?" If that's not enough to cause a stammer, he's looming over him, and the infamous rogue's fingers are giving warning if not making obvious threat. "Ah, I-" And looking over a shoulder at a snickering Bucky isn't doing Jo any favors. (Easy to find this all funny knowing speedster isn't after your cap, right James?) "Don't usually, unless-" Probably best to shake the head of dark curls and the thought of mentioning the face is REALLY pretty, and Barry seemed to reciprocate. It could be wishful thinking on Jo's scrambling brain. "I mean, no. Not a habit, especially on a mission."
SC: Joaquin & Sam / @feathersofvibranium
"Okay, I see how it is giving away your busted wings right before the upgrade." And ever since, Joaquin's poured all his off-duty hours into getting airborne. So inspired by watching Sam, he couldn't even keep the awe completely out of his tease while continuing with some hopefully finally tweaks. "And now cap himself is here to judge my work, make sure I don’t wreck them again, right?"
Joaquin knew it all along: @hehadaplan
"Oh shit, you were on the moon." The stupidity was flying out his mouth before Joaquin's brain could finish processing the sight before him. "I mean, you're alive... and talking me, wow, but uh how is- why?"

Reg approved cut must be getting shaggy if long thin fingers could slide between dark curls. ‘...at least eighteen days’, he figured musings on his last trip to the PX, the one he'd just came back from when Sam called. ‘Soft’, incredibly soft touch for a woman who could probably end his life with the other hand tied behind her back. The thought wasn't fully formed before his lashes fluttered with a yarn.
‘Real smooth Torres, shake it off!’
The jet-lag certainly wasn't helping. When had Sharon even crossed the room?
"Oh man," he started apologizing, covering his mouth while looking up, legs giving only a half stretch as not to kick her. "Sorry...uh, did I pass out on you or something?" Confusion scrunched up his brow. He's trying to understand why she'd done that.

It's at that moment when long half gloved fingers were reaching for his tie that Joaquin accepted he would do anything for Sam. He'd dropped everything to fly to New York, taking another flight shortly after with a mutant he had just met to pose as arms buyers, and something about slant to the other man's lips said this was just the start of tonight's mess.
"Don't think they're gonna care if my collar's crooked," he huffed, one cheek sliding up in time with the trail Remy's hands made down his lapels. "You're doing all the talking anyway, right?"
@projectwinter said: "So, you're Sam's little sidekick, huh?"
Dragon gonna dragon and that’s why we <3
"Hey! I'm not lill-" He doesn't mind being referred to as the Falcon's sidekick. In fact, his chest caught a puff of air whenever someone made that joke, a bit of pride and a whole lot of hope filling him up, like if said enough, God, the universe, Sam, or whoever might make it happen.
So, it's only the little part that has Joaquin objecting- till he looks, REALLY looks at the comment's source. "Uh..." And is struck by an odd sense of familiarity he can't quite place. "James, right? Sorry, uh, please-" Not wanting to make a complete ass out of himself, he's all warm, pearled smile now, gesturing to the empty chair in front of him.
"You wanna a coffee or something?"
