Studio 5: Chosen idea #2
we had a group meeting where we continued discussing different ideas and we have managed to narrow the choices down to two.
The first concept was from Ej, his idea is to create an electronic arts festival, hosted inside of a dome. Inside the dome there will be events and spaces to gather experts and entertainers with a collective aim of finding ways to address global issues through combination of arts, music and technology. The second concept came from Sunny, his idea was to create an interactive garden.
Both of these proposals really stood out to me, but I have decided to go with Sunny’s vision instead, for one reason. Sunny told me he would like to learn more about physical installations and he wants to do thing that get him out of his comfort zone, to learn new and innovative skills. Which is also something I want to do, this semester. Therefore I feel the interactive garden is best suited for my personal goals and achievement this year.
From our original large group we decided to divide based on different interests in the two proposed ideas. Now I am official in a smaller team that consists of Sunny, Hugo, me(Alan) and Harry. To get a better understanding of what we are doing, currently it’s still quite board, but we want to do like a interactive garden that can somehow give back to the environment and improve people’s life.
