Yesterday I had the best time of my life in Los Angeles. I hung out with amazing people before the meet and greet. We chilled in a hotel lobby because it was so hot but we got to rest. We were all excited and nervous but it was worth it. Being lined up inside the venue we were all hyped. Then an hour passed and still no sight of Dan and Phil. But it’s okay because their manager said they were on their way. So fifteen minutes everyone starts screaming. 

I met Dan and Phil and honestly they are the sweetest people. I’m next in line and I’m talking to their manager. Girl is the nicest and I’m so thankful she is so good at her job. Now it’s time and I walk around the corner and Phil is there. He says “Hi how are you?” which I say “good.” Then when I go to hug Dan he says “Hi I like your shirt” while laughing and I said “thanks.” Best purchase of my life to be honest. I say “I met you guys in Clearwater and Phil you’re wearing the same shirt.” “Well he hasn’t washed it since.” And we all laughed after he said that. So then the manager gives them the flag to say and Phil says “Go Hogs?” “Yeah I go to the University of Arkansas and this is our mascot. I do have to say I was offended when you didn’t know where Arkansas was.” “Oh did we get it wrong?” says Dan. “No it was the first state and Phil you didn’t know where it was so you refreshed the game.” “Oh well he’ll figure it out.” “Where is it?” says Phil and I say “It’s kinda above Texas.” “Oh.” And then at this point I’m shaking and Dan goes want me to take a selfie as I say, “Sure can we do funny faces?” Please know that Dan takes these selfies so fast that I’m not even thinking so I’m basically smiling because I’m so happy. But I did get one with my tongue out and we are all looking HELLA cute. After that I ask if we can do individual photos. So I get the one with Phil first and he asks, “Are we just smiling for this?” Which I say “Sure,” because I’m just a mess. Then comes the one with Dan. Is he angry with me? Like what did I do? I’m so sad. Then I turn back and say, “Sorry I’m shaking.” “Oh it’s fine.” “Thank you and I met these two people in Clearwater and they’re from Peru and wanted me to tell you hi.” “Aww well tell them we say hi back.” Then I leave and don’t remember anything after that. But I’m really happy with how this turned out!! 

I’m so thankful for this experience. I didn’t say everything I wanted but I did say some more in the cards I wrote for both Dan and Phil. I hope Phil likes the card even if it is just a mess of words. I’m not an English major for a reason. I met the best people. I was the only one jammin to the playlist in my section and then I got some people to join. I was LIVING and I’m so happy they did this tour. It’s the best feeling of hanging out with people that are excited and just ready for the best night of their life. 

At this LA show there was a surprise and a lot of people were sad it was something little but if you really think about it we got a lot. First they filmed our show. Second they gave us two performances at the end. Third we got confetti. Fourth and probably the most important they gave everyone in the audience happiness for a few hours. Finally Dan and Phil were so happy and excited and to see them like that was everything I needed. Thank you so much Dan and Phil for giving me inspiration, helping me in tough times, and for being unapologetic of who you are!!

Are people really whining that the LA II surprise was confetti? Uuuuh first of all I thought the surprise was that we got to see the whole Phil roasting himself/Dan playing the piano/ their duet twice. Also the confetti was rad fight me
