2/24/20 - Here is another view from the center of the bridge, showing light trails coming from the bridge, as well as traffic from the 110 Freeway below. Yesterday night, February 24, 2020, the Intercontinental DTLA building was lit in purple and gold to honor Kobe Bryant's Memory after his Memorial Service in the morning at the Staples Center. I photographed the Intercontinental DTLA from this bridge with @_bertman_, with the north facing side of this building showing the number 8, which was one of the Jersey numbers that Kobe wore during the early part his Basketball Career with the Lakers. So thankful that this return visit to the bridge was a success and that I was able to capture this wonderful Memorial tribute to Kobe, for his outstanding lifetime achievements as a Lakers Basketball Player, and beyond in his Retirement supporting Youth Basketball through his Mamba Sports Academy. R.I.P. Kobe, Gianna, and the Seven. Thank you for all that you have done to leave this world a better place than you found it, and for how you have touched our lives, and many others worldwide.
