Did you know? The Japanese world view is largely impacted by it’s geography. being as mountainous as it is, resources and trade show what adaptations and emphasis they put on things in their society. Even their lettering system of kanji uses many geographical features as mnemonics . Japan has a very close tie to their land that is almost spiritual in nature. Being that it is an island nation, this has led them to be largely protected and secluded for most of history on their terms, and therefore has greatly impacts how they have developed as a culture and what they value today.
