#interdimensional emporium

so I've got this thing called the IdE in my multiverse. the Interdimensional Emporium is a shopping district that connects to many universes at once. it features a variety of shops and even a small park and "town" square with a fountain! there are plenty of benches around for people to rest in. (Strictly No motor vehicles, even bikes are frowned upon heavily)

And! I made a "proof" of concept map that obeys no scale rules at all in google slides bc why not:

this is most certainly not the final layout of the IdE, just like a basic conceptual visualizer.

For one thing, it's probably not so linear.

Marty is a world class mechanic and tech guy, also a cyborg, he made his own cyborg limbs

His former (but also reinstated) best man Toby bit off an arm and a leg. It was a misunderstanding in the end bc Marty never would have knowingly put Toby’s little brother in danger. He just took a jobs that payed well, he wasn’t good at considering consequences, especially distanced or long term ones. The ppl who hired him used the tech he made them to trap Tristan (Toby’s little bro).

They figured out the misunderstanding after a while and eventually made up about the whole biting limbs off thing.

Marty knows just how much Tristan means to Toby and never would have taken the deal if he knew it would put him in danger. Marty is also fond of Tristan himself.

Marty also has a shop in the Interdimensional Emporium (IdE)
