I do find it funny how important it is to some members of the 40k Fandom to vehemently argue the Interex were NEVER a good alternative.

There 1d4chan article, for example, has gradually morphed over the years from being a note on the sadness that their bright and shining alternative never was realized, to a diatribe about how the Imperium is ‘justified’ in what it does and the Interex were ‘wrong’ in what they did etc.

Then again 1d4chan’s catchphrase could be ‘The Imperium is RIGHT’ so I more mean its funny seeing even on other sites how firmly some people feel the need to dispute any worth in the Interex, as if they are terrified of the prospect of conceding it.

Proof that people can change! This is a quote from a Bible paper I wrote years before I even knew what transgender, intersex, non-binary, anything(!) was. I think my subconscious mind was trying to tell me something in my writing.

Are you male or female?

This seems like a simple question, but for about 1 out of 58 individuals the answer is not so simple. Some individuals are born "intersex" meaning they may have sexual traits from both genders. While this video contains extensive interviews with intersex individuals, pay attention to how the doctor decided to define intersex, transgender, gender, and sexual orientation in only two categories relating to men and women at the very end of this show. While we know individual bodies are much more complex than the definitions this person gives, could this be a micro-example of oversimplification in science to make data legible? Or make research conductible? If so, how is this harmful? How does this reiterate harmful (specifically American) culture?
