as a whole, how do they feel about tevinter + the imperium?
Eliana sees Tevinter as just another of the “all messed up in their own way” human nations, though perhaps one that’s very obviously corrupted and bad. She likes the idea of a place where mages are left in peace, but she does feel very vary of their treatment of Elves. It’s a big scary thing in the distance, the unknown danger rather than the stuff she does see happening around her.
do they enjoy being the inquisitor?
She likes Skyhold and all the people and places she got to know. She met her best friends and husband, she has the power to bring hope to people and have access to knowledge and resources she never even dreamed off from before when she needed to ask the Keeper for permission to buy human magic books in markets. She hates why she is the Inquisitor, she is exhausted by the burden and the feeling of standing alone against an overwhelming problem. And she hates how it feels like she has to fix the entire world herself. Eliana is also really exhausted by “religious” expectations and people trying to prove or disprove what she is, and being asked her opinion about the Maker. Cause she doesn’t care whether or not he exists, but people expect her to have insight
