Not having the slightest as to what mauve was, Azzy nodded. "Sure. It's next to a green light that's not doing anything." She said to clarify. Whatever mauve was, she was alarmed that it meant something bad. "What does mauve mean?"
"Mauve's...bad. Mauve is bad." The Doctor dragged himself off the floor, stumbling a bit, trying to claw his way to the console, but he was seeing double. It wasn't easy. "Mauve is very, very, very, very, very....bad."
intergalacticmasterthief replied to your post: Didn't look at the song list, but let's go with 68.
//Oh my goodness, leave it to me to choose the most random song on the list, ahaha. You don’t have to do it if you don’t want to!
I'm sure I can think of something...possibly not something related to our characters, but something. Lol. It's a writing challenge!
Azzy hesitated for a moment. She was certainly no engineer, and the chance that she would be able to help at all was very slim. In retrospect, she could probably just nick the Manipulator and make a break for it before something bad happened. Then again... the Doctor had saved her from those officers. She couldn't leave him behind now. "Stay here." She instructed, carefully rising and going over to the console. "There's a big, blinking purple light here, does that mean anything?"
"P-Purple?" He repeated uncertainly, blinking heavily. "You mean mauve? Because mauve is bad..."
Didn't look at the song list, but let's go with 68.
Send me a number and I’ll listen to the song then write a drabble with my character, our characters, or my character + one you suggest, based on it.
Everyone just...go listen to 68 XD But okay!
Azzy breathed a sigh of relief when the Doctor woke up. "Don't strain yourself, I'm not sure what's going on." She said, keeping an arm around the Doctor to support him. "What's that beeping noise? That big console thing started making it when you blacked out."
"Dunno," he managed to say, wavering unsteadily. "Beepin'. Bad. Somethin' bad. Shouldn't be beepin'." Maybe the TARDIS knew what was wrong with him? But of course he couldn't exactly get to the console to confirm it.
"Doctor!" Azelma exclaimed, lunging forward to catch the Doctor before he slammed onto the TARDIS floor. She didn't know what to do; she couldn't just leave him like this. Not only was her Manipulator not finished, but it just wouldn't be right. All of a sudden, the console in the center of the space began to make strange noises. Something wasn't right, and Azzy had no idea what it was. "Come on, wake up..." She muttered, pouring a bit of the healing chromium into his mouth.
The Doctor's eyes fluttered a bit, and he choked as he struggled to swallow. The beeping of the console cut through his head like a sharp knife."Somethin'swrong," he slurred, pushing himself up, trying to focus on the console. His head was spinning and he felt hot and cold at the same time and why was the console beeping?
"Just stay awake." Azzy instructed. The first thing she would do was get him water, but she couldn't touch the stuff. "I have some chromium, perhaps that will help." She said, reaching into her bag and fumbling around for the small canteen of chromium she kept with her; it was, to Aryians, what water was to humans. "Here drink this." She said, holding up the canteen to his mouth.
"S'fine, s'fine," the Doctor groaned, picking himself up with some difficulty and trying to find the kitchen. He just needed to...to...
The floor went out from beneath him, and his vision went black as he collapsed.
