INTERIM POST
I did say the interim poll would have no actual effect on the bracket. AND I'M RIGHT! BUT HERE'S A COUPLE OF MOVESET CONCEPTS, BASED ON WHO WON THOSE POLLS!
To start with, IRON VALIANT! This is a theoretical future form of Gardevoir and Gallade, and can be seen as a potential endpoint - even so, don't let its METALLIC EXTERIOR fool you! It's a fast, technical fighter who focuses on LIMITING THE OPPONENT for MORE PRECISE STRIKES!
Its NEUTRAL SPECIAL has it execute the move PSYCHO CUT! This is a standard projectile, of course, but it's best used to LIMIT MOVEMENT!
Its SIDE SPECIAL has it execute the move SPIRIT BREAK! This is a charging stab with its glaive, but the TIP deals EXTRA DAMAGE! Getting hit with the rest of the blade still hurts, of course, but if you're caught by the tip, you're hit with a FURTHER EXPLOSION of FAIRY ENERGY! (Something like how Force Palm still does damage but has extra oomph if you're grabbed by it)
Its UP SPECIAL has it execute the move FURY CUTTER! It's a low slash upwards and not particularly strong, but the TRICK is that IF YOU HIT THE FIRST SLASH, YOU CAN USE IT AGAIN, with BETTER HEIGHT AND POWER! THIS CAN BE CHAINED, but good look hitting it more than once!
Its DOWN SPECIAL has it execute the move FUTURE SIGHT! This is another limiting move, where Iron Valiant foresees an attack! After about thirty seconds, that area will then automatically IMPLODE! This is a pressure tool, much like Psycho Cut, and is good at combos when timed right!
Its FINAL SMASH is the apex of future power - WARP DRIVE SLASH! At the speed of light, Iron Valiant will appear on the other side of the stage - and after a few seconds, the background will slide across the cut! Any fighter caught on this cut will be sent flying, and anyone at a high enough percentage will be ANNIHILATED!
Next is, after a more fierce poll, WALKING WAKE, an imagined prehistoric form of SUICUNE! Its FIERCE, POWERFUL FORM is EXACTLY WHAT YOU'D EXPECT - RAW POWER! However, all of its moves are MUCH BETTER when CHARGED!
Its NEUTRAL SPECIAL is BREAKING SWIPE! By charging its tails with DRACONIC ENERGY, it can SHATTER SHIELDS by lashing its tails out - but it's a fine launch tool without the charge!
Its SIDE SPECIAL is HYDRO STEAM! This one HAS to be charged up, but when it's unleashed, it's a POWERFUL BURST of BOILING WATER! Its launch power isn't as strong as moves like FLUDD or WATER GUN - but it has DAMAGE and HITSTUN!
Its UP SPECIAL is DRAGON RUSH! Send Walking Wake FLYING in a given direction, and GO FARTHER if you CHARGE IT UP!
Its DOWN SPECIAL is OUTRAGE! Build up Walking Wake's rage, and UNLEASH IT in a FIERY DRACONIC EXPLOSION! The more you charge it up, the bigger the explosion - but the LONGER THE ENDLAG! Use wisely to KO!
Its FINAL SMASH is the pinnacle of FEROCITY - Proto-Draco Meteor! It charges down the opponent, and whoever is caught is MAULED by WALKING WAKE'S claws and fangs! With one primeval roar, it then calls down an ENORMOUS METEOR to HIT THE OPPONENT for MASSIVE DAMAGE!
Two fighters! One focusing on raw power, one focusing on technique! Consider them both!
