It's not that I want the patterns to be "difficult," so much that [looks with stern affection at ghost of teenage self] being "easy" isn't everything.
take the biggest hit off the strongest cart and then go figure out a secret patch pattern this will work out
(proceed to be very confused and yet also amazed at the emerging pattern)
((i have now been makinf secret patches all day stoned out of my mind))
Finished this @interlockingpatches pattern today and I love it, very excited to sew it on to a tote and rep trans Florida ❤️🏳️⚧️
Kinda crap picture and didn’t have time to block it properly but finally finished my space shuttle patch!!!
Took f o r e v e r honestly and I think I’m over crocheting in such tiny gauge for a while now but I’m pretty happy!!! Will return tomorrow with feedback from the gifted on whether they liked it.
The SECOND space-themed @interlockingpatches patch I make and don’t get to keep for myself. Gutted
some legacy formats (interlocking crochet, cotton thread)
Hi there. I'm putting together a little free compilation including one pattern from each of my first six collections. The idea is that I'll do a proper finished-object project/tutorial for each of the six motifs.
A001: Florida Wildlife is already a free (or rather pay-what-you-want) download, but I see no reason to exclude it from the festivities!
I'm keeping the Florida Trans flag patch out of this because I don't want to submit it to a popularity contest, even it it would probably clean up here, and because this is all a ploy to sell crochet patterns, and if I'm going to be that crass I want to make it count.
Also, twelve is the max number of poll options, and I wanted to offer this outtake, the American Flamingo for your consideration:
I didn't include it because flamingoes were extirpated from Florida by the early 20th Century (though with habitat protection and climate change, I understand they're making a limited return), and I wanted to give the under-appreciated Roseate Spoonbill her flowers (or whatever it is that spoonbills eat).
In any event, the flamingo is also Trans.
Whom should it be?
A001-01: American Alligator
A001-02: Anhinga
A001-03: Florida Horse Conch
A001-04: Florida Panther
A001-05: Florida Woods Cockroach
A001-06: Gopher Tortoise
A001-07: Grooved Brain Coral
A001-08: Loggerhead Sea Turtle
A001-09: Nine-Banded Armadillo
A001-10: Roseate Spoonbill
A001-11: West Indian Manatee
A001-XX: American Flamingo (Outtake)
