James Hoff, co-founder of the art publisher Primary Information, has released an autobiographical record, Shadows Lifted From Invisible Hands. It is based on the "internal soundtrack" of earworms and tinnitus, transformed into ambient sound that can actually be shared or experienced by someone else.

The cover art [above] on the vinyl and electronic editions is Mother's Day 1979 (for Mom), 1979, a painting by Jack Whitten.
