I challenged myself to look at death differently today and though I feel like I have a healthy appreciation of its role, in the eternal transformation that is energy; I felt as though the ancestors and deceased spirits had a new perspective to share with me! Captured by the color still deeply preserved within this flower, I began to see and understand even further, the power of life force during all stages of existence. Just beyond the boundaries of this picture is a lily bud I have been watching for a week, all the while wondering when it will bloom; until today. I realized that with each day the impending unfolding grew closer, this flower once vibrant with vitality, surrendered its stamina in light of the approaching rebirth; somehow instinctively knowing that its climax had been reached and newness was on the horizon! With blossoming beginnings just around the corner, I felt the preservation of individuality and the lasting impression we gain from giving our energetic experience over to a form of being. Even the pollen and recreation forces of this flower are resting in tact, waiting to be absorbed and reborn into another place and way of expression. The presence of life is constantly ready to be accepted and established into a flow of rhythm and design; a balance of heart and harmony dancing together in a Divine embrace. Death is the continuation of our highest well-being and the conclusion of feeling constrained, from any limitations being carved from the fires of our soul!
