Sometimes you read a brief passage that puts together, succinctly and clearly, the myriad musings, interests, and ideas learned on the long road of a quarter century’s journey. Herein lies one within Women Who Run With the Wolves. The beautiful irony is that I read and was profoundly inspired by this book two decades ago. I read the same words and they did not have the same weighty and clarifying impact as they did this morning. Couldn’t have. I had to take the long walk from there to here. There are no shortcuts. Sorry kids. Yet, I promise that if you commit to this long and messy work, you too will know the same moments of illumination. And oh yeah, #internationalpetsday. All journeys require companions who arrive to provide unconditional support and love for some, but not all, segments of the path. #elcamino (at Tongva Land) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNieCe1jRT0MU8ZF8k6eJx__814KduVOBZT5Hg0/?igshid=sxjqy4yqnwn8
