Happy #internationaltapdanceday to all the shoes and rappers that have come across in my life. Nothing fills my heart more than seeing what amazing progress tap is having in the world. This genre of dance is unique and wonderful and every year I love it more and more. I cannot thank my teachers enough for helping me fall in love with such an amazing art ❤️

I would like to conclude with Shelby Kaufman (@shelby.kaufman). She is from Michigan and is an important part of the tap dance community. If you have seen her YouTube channel, she has a number of very helpful instructional videos. I learned how to do the traveling time step from her video! She also has performance videos (including one where she performed on the Steve Harvey Show!) and tap shoe reviews, where she sheds light on a number of styles and brands of tap shoes. I've seen a number of YouTube videos of tap dance instruction, but I don't think that any are as helpful and easy to follow as Shelby's.
