Internet Day celebrates the origin of the very first internet transmission ever sent, and from it the utterly world-changing series of events that followed. People are able to video conference from around the world, and the information is stored and transmitted at unbelievable rates between computers and friends and family. Enhanced Reality is becoming a reality, with Digital Overlays available for real world things, seamlessly combining the world of the internet with the one we walk around in every day.
Internet mi ha aperto un Mondo, il Mio consentendomi di poterlo fare conoscere a chiunque, anche e soprattutto a Me Stessa, emergendo così dalla Mia paura d’essere. Sono 18 anni che lo uso per comunicare quello che provo. Quante gioie e tristezze, quanti sfoghi e dubbi, quanti sogni e desideri, quanta fantasia e ispirazione, quanta speranza e volontà di farcela ha raccolto d’allora... L’etere è davvero sommerso di frammenti e versi che raccontano di Me e della Mia Vita, e sinceramente ne vado anche un po’ fiera. Fiera di aver contribuito nel Mio piccolo ad arricchire questa invenzione a dir poco straordinaria e fantastica! Per non parlare poi delle diverse persone che mi ha permesso di conoscere, anche sparse per il Mondo, alcune davvero meravigliose che mi hanno aiutato a scoprirmi per valorizzarmi un po’ più, amandomi. Quante opportunità mi ha donato, facendomi fare il giro del Mondo pur restando ferma. Quante cose mi ha fatto conoscere o riscoprire meglio, accrescendo e migliorando la Mia cultura. Grazie per avermi dato spazio e voce, consentendomi così di uscire dalla Mia insicurezza e dall’anonimato. Oggi considero Internet come il Mio Diario virtuale che però rispetto a quello di carta che continuo in ogni caso ad usare, mi consente di aprirmi alle persone per arrivare dritta ai loro cuori. 🌍 💓

Happy International/National Internet Day 2025! Fun fact It’s on October 29th due to the first message being typed & sent as originally “login” but it crashed and only typed the first two letters “lo” & was sent & that’s how it was ever since! The internet has literally helped me in several ways, introduced me to so many different things, topics, shows, franchises, games & more alongside meeting great online friends, tutorials towards the hobbies I love to this day & more! I’m forever grateful for the pioneers, programmers, scientists, technicians & more behind the development of it! Enjoy the internet everyone!
Happy International Internet Day 2024; it’s been 55 years since the internet’s creation back on October 29th 1969 with the attempt to type in the word “login” but ended up with the word “lo” as a result! The internet is nothing short of extraordinary and incredible, heck outright amazing and extremely useful in every aspect of life. I literally owe so much if not everything to the internet for a large majority of my life from learning basic but important information to getting me into jobs, my passion for animation, gaming, art, music, origami, creativity and so much more to meeting my online friends. The internet is one amazing place and while it does have its fare share of flaws, problems and challenges in the form of bad people, hacking, scamming, controversies, lies and etc. You can’t deny that the internet is an invention that changed everything and the whole world forever literally. From emails to commissions to comics to messages etc through international network.

What is Safer Internet Day 2023
safer Internet Day (SID) is an annual international celebration that takes place on the second Tuesday of February in order to encourage more secure and responsible use of technology and devices specifically for mobiles for young people and children.
It is organized by ENISA which is the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) and is celebrated in over 100 countries across the globe.
The theme of Safe Internet Day changes each year, but the aim remains the same in educating people about the risks of using online and promote safe usage of technology, and encourage everyone to take the appropriate steps to protect their own safety and that of others online.
The aim of the day is to promote safe and secure internet usage which includes protecting your privacy, preventing cyberbullying and harassment online and also providing information and resources to help you keep your safety online in your mind.

History of Safer Internet Day 2023
Safer Internet Day (SID) was first introduced in 2004 under the Commission’s Safer Internet Program. It was the first time Safer Internet Day was celebrated on the 11th of February 2004 and, since then, has grown into an international holiday which is observed in over 100 countries.
The celebration is to raise awareness of the risks of internet browsing, and to urge everyone who connects to the internet to take responsibility for their online actions.
Every the year Safer Internet Day has distinct themes that are focused on particular issues related to online security such as privacy, cyberbullying and responsible use of digital technology.
It is observed through a myriad of events and activities , including online safety education as well as public presentations. Social media-related initiatives. The goal is to celebrate and provide a secure and safe online experience for all, regardless of age, gender or ethnicity.
It’s a way to remind everyone all that they play an obligation to participate of making internet an safer environment and encourage positive and responsible online conduct.
