Growing up I always had a hard time separating my online identity from my real life identity. My parents would be like “aw is this your character?” and I’d just cringe. No that’s not “my character” that is ME tf. It actually grossed me out to think about my existence in the real world :S

Its funny to me how people pretend to dislike AI because its "bad for the environment" but completely ignore how bad the internet itself is for the environment. I dislike AI because its often used to generate artwork or pictures that were made by someone else so people can do art the easy way by stealing others content or even worse, it can be used to frame people for crimes and make fake videos with dangerous misinformation. EVERYTHING that humans do is bad for the environment. The only way to not contribute negativity to the environment is to go be a hermit somewhere without clean water or electricity AND THE SCARIEST OF ALL...no internet. We are so spoiled by the internet that I highly HIGHLY doubt any of us would be capable of living that lifestyle. Yall would try it for like a day or so then immediately go back to using the internet because youd be having withdrawals. "oh god how am I suppose to be an internet vigilante living like this??" The majority of these hate trends start because some internet celebrity says "this is bad" and then all their brain dead fans just copy the same opinion because we all know anyone who worships influencers have no thoughts of their own💀 can we just be honest at why we dislike ai?
