I see so much about internet savior and my dearest Kiki, but I haven't been able to bring myself to talk about my views of it for a while but I suppose I will try now i think it is disgusting how we group the two together. I see so many posts that are "talking about internet savior and kiki" as if they were connected in any way. yes, they both left the world around the same time, but seeing so many people consider them one in the same feels so disrespectful. they were two COMPLETELY different cases. it angers me to see them so connected in the eyes of so many people. it feels like people don't see them as lives lost. and its horrible to me. if you're going to talk about it, you can't just say "oh that's sad, rip kiki and internet savior" no. especially people that have no place in doing so, people that never talked to them, people who never even HEARD of them until they committed. I was a friend of Kiki's. I talked to her and I was friends with her for a lot of the time that my blog has been up. it felt horrible to see her go, it hurt so much, and I think of her a lot and hope shes in a much better place now, as she deserves. she was a wonderful person, a very VERY kind soul that didn't deserve ANY of what happened to her or what people are saying about her right now. for a space on Tumblr that claims to be a place for freely expressing mental illness and personal issues, the moment Kiki stopped trying to be happy you all got really fucking uncomfortable. Kiki deserved and DESERVES better from this community that she loved so much. and it hurts my heart to see the things going on right now... everyone just needs to be kinder. Kiki was a human being. not just a blog on Tumblr. she was someone who had a life, and to see you all act like she was just another statistic is sickening. she deserved happiness, and now she deserves respect.

the internet savior post. as for the internet savior, this deserves a lot of nuance. I never directly interacted with internet savior besides each of us liking a few of each other's posts and knowing of each other around jiraiblr. I watched everything happen in real time, I saw them before the controversy, I saw their posts during, and I saw what happened after. did I support what internet savior claimed? no, not in the slightest. do I condone THE AMOUNT OF BULLYING THAT PEOPLE DECIDED TO SEND THEM?? absolutely not. in a way, I view their opinion as something that showed that they had love in their heart, too much love for this world. they held too much hope for horrible people. and then a different kind of horrible people decided to bully them to su1c1de because of that. it is disgusting, in my opinion. if you think what happened to internet savior was just, then you are disgusting. internet savior had very questionable views and actions in my opinion, but they did not deserve any of what anybody said to them. I believe with my entire heart that all they wanted was to help people, and they did just that for so many people. they WANTED to be a safe space. they did it in an odd way, sure, and they were probably incredibly in over their head doing what they had been doing, but that did not warrent anything that happened. they were not trying to creat a cult. they were not condoning s3xual violence. they were trying to be a good person. and the way they were treated for it was disgusting.

I hope they are in a much better place, they deserve it. One can only hope that they are much happier now.
