This sounds right, but we do still allow putting toy prizes in cereal. So, maybe it’s a matter of the toy being inside the food itself and being a choking hazard? I can see that being a legitimate issue.

I’ve been crossposting to LJ from DW since about 2010, but I didn’t really want to have to delete my LJ. I still don’t, but I think it’s going to have to be done.

In a funny turn of events, relationships with people might actually get better once you show your boundaries. :) Don't feel guilty about prioritizing self-care and things that are important for you, and don't be afraid that people will be angry that you chose yourself over them, they won't in the long run. Apparently many of you have met UselessTraining Guy and nobody liked the experience. I join you in solidarity. (He was a bit better for the second session after I asked him to focus on X, but there were still a ton of irrelevant asides and what seemed to be attempts to sell their product to us. Which we have already bought. Thus the training.)

urggghhh. one of my least favorite professional-class enemies.

I just... cannot quite grasp the mentality that hears, “What my staff really needs to see is X,” and thinks, “OK, maybe I’ll see if I can fit that in after 50 minutes of irrelevance.”
