reasons why i really want this internship: 

there is something incredibly enthralling about the prospect of flying across the country to a place you’ve always dreamt of living in. doing something that you always dreamt of doing. these last few months have probably been the hardest i’ve ever encountered due to the fact that so much growth and change has happened. i became president. i watched my brother make the Top 20 of The Voice. i lost a loved one. 

and its that last one that really has been sticking with me ever since it happened. there are moments where i would feel like i’m wasting my time and feel like complete shit that I would think of you and wonder what you would say. you would tell me that the world is filled with people who will never understand or who will never change and how that will always remain constant. however, what defines a great individual is their ability to see that and grow away from the negativity and know that you cannot let those people hold you down from getting better.

i don’t know. i feel like i am rambling now.

the reason why i want this internship is because i wanna fly away and work on myself so when I come back, 

i’m better.
