“Tell Me Something That’s Not On Your Resume”
Me thinking in my head while prepping for a job interview: *comes up with great ideas and great answers and great questions.* Dang, I really know how to BS these things. I’m gonna do great.
Me during the interview: *stutters* well...umm...(What is my name?)
So I think Dom Sherwood could have phrased that answer better. I think he was trying to say that although they're in love, they have a lot of evolving to do as all couples do before they can become the endgame couple that we all root for. Unfortunately, the way he phrased that... was lacking. It's such a shame too because he's always been such a sweetheart and he's never seemed anything but supportive of Malec. I'm holding out the belief that it was just poor phrasing because I don't know him and how he words things. I will however, be pissed that the interviewed claimed a lack of chemistry between Malec when their first meeting was off the charts. She intentionally insulted the chemistry for Malec. Maybe Dom did or maybe he didn't but whilst her statement was solid, his seemed like it could have been taken in two very different ways - which judging by the split in the fandom right now, it was. I don't consider myself a 'stan' but one interview certainly isn't going to make me 'anti' until I see another case where he insults the ship, because I know damn well a lot of the things I say often get misinterpreted, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt for now. We shall see.
Whenever I feel anxious about an upcoming interview, I remember that I BS'd a whole semester of weekly presentations with the prickliest professor ever and gain back my confidence (most of it anyway).
i keep forgetting to breathe 😅
When you’re in an interview, and they ask what your number one strength is
Job interviews are so awkward. They ask me a question and I start to form an answer in my mind. Then I start talking and within 15 seconds I forget where I'm going with my answer and forget what the question was in the first place. So now I'm just talking hoping that I'm actually answering the question and not just going on some random tangent that has nothing to do with the question they asked me. And then I finish my answer and I'm just sitting there wondering how I've ever gotten a job.
Interview Problems
Sorry my longest running form of money making isn’t a “real job.”
