ugh i feel you.. why is it so hard for people to agree on a middle ground or something. i’m very much a spectator to all of this but the little i know of it makes me uncomfortable :/

yes, this is why i could never be actively part of something like this. because it’s the internet and people become hostile and controlling real quick especially when there is an option to stay anonymous. I fully support the cause obviously but this entire issue makes me uncomfortable too and it’s sad really

Definitely christmas! I love christmas season and everything that comes with it. The decorations in the streets and stores, christmas movies on tv, the weather, and just christmas eve in general :)

8. Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.

“You know how people say at least you got out okay?” Holly asked the psychologist. The psychologist gave her a noncommittal nod so Holly continued as she sat back in her chair, “But when you get out with that kind of destruction….” Holly sat back in her chair. “When you lose your sense of security and your faith in people. When you stop sleeping at night and you’re scared of what’s in the dark…. Did you really get out okay?”

Holly licked her lips and asked with a sigh, “Did I really get out okay?”

I really liked this dialogue because when I wrote this, I had just lost my home and most of my possessions in a flood and people kept telling me at least I made it out okay because that's just something people say without really thinking about it. I didn't experience exactly what Holly was feeling, but I kept getting frustrated because I'd lost everything and people were telling me that I was okay.

Haha no. I play fast and loose with my writing. One time I used a map to see how far a helicopter could fly, but that's pretty much it.
